Dr Alana Evans

Alana has been practicing dentistry for the last 10 years having completed her undergraduate degree in dentistry from the University of Queensland in 2012. After working for 4 years as a general dentist in private practice and completing a further research Masters degree (MPhil), she chose to specialise in Prosthodontics at the University of Sydney before returning back to her home roots in Brisbane. She has been working in an esteemed private practice in Brisbane CBD until joining the team at Restore Dental and Prosthodontics.
Alana is registered as a specialist prosthodontist both with a doctorate degree and specialist membership with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Alana enjoys the challenge of treatment planning complex cases including those with missing teeth and tooth wear and working in a multi-disciplinary team to provide optimal service to her patients. She is trained in both complex restorative treatment and surgical implant placement.

Alana is the current treasurer for the Australian Prosthodontic Association (Qld). She is a member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontics and the International College of Prosthodontics. Along with Mark and Stephen, Alana is a mentor for general dentists at a local implant study group.

Outside of dentistry, Alana is married with one son, has two energetic dogs, and enjoys keeping active and spending time with family and friends.
