Dr Alana Evans

Alana has been practising dentistry for over 10 years, having completed her undergraduate degree in dentistry at the University of Queensland in 2012. After working for four years as a general dentist in private practice and completing a research Master‘s degree (MPhil), she specialised in Prosthodontics at the University of Sydney before returning to her home in Brisbane. She worked in a highly regarded private practice in the Brisbane CBD before joining the team at Restore Dental and Prosthodontics.

Alana is a registered specialist prosthodontist, holding a doctorate and specialist membership with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. She enjoys the challenge of treatment planning complex cases, including those involving missing teeth and tooth wear, and values working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal outcomes for her patients. She is trained in both complex restorative treatment and surgical implant placement.

Alana is currently the President of the Australian Prosthodontic Society of Queensland and the immediate past Treasurer. She is also a member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontics, and the International College of Prosthodontics. She regularly contributes to continuing professional development for her peers. 

Outside of dentistry, Alana is married with two children and two energetic dogs. She enjoys keeping active and spending time outdoors with family and friends, particularly camping and water skiing during the summer months.
